PRINCIPLE

Shocking research reveals that most major artists are being pushed by their labels to stream exclusively on one specific video streaming platform, leaving alternative platforms starved of the light they could bring - so Halo Eclipse has been founded to shine in their absence.

MATERIAL EXCLUSIONS & ALLOWANCES
​
It is not part of our vision to accommodate children’s material but we may also reject submissions portraying excessive violence, sexuality or offensive language.​ We are an alternative arts platform, not seeking content that already thrives on mainstream algorithms such as make-up suggestions, cake decorating & recipes, opinion-based vlogs, ASMR, life hacks or real-life domestic animal videos. In some cases the line between 'art' and 'fact' may blur i.e. documentaries, which we only approve in cases of inarguable information i.e indi bands and filmmaking (non-celebrity based) or appreciation of beauty i.e. architecture & nature. Philosophical material may be approved but we don't accept conspiracy-based theory in favour of maintaining a peaceful channel.

ORIGINALITY & QUALITY all submissions must be original material and we are not accepting productions at this stage which have been solely AI generated. Therefore we may in some cases request human authentication. We are a video platform and while we may accept music accompanied by one still visual only, it must be high quality and is preferred that you feature at least one moving picture video for every three submitted pieces. We strive to present high quality productions and in the event audition pieces do not meet a certain standard, the artist may not be chosen to feature.

POTENTIAL & EXPECTATIONS​
Movements do not happen by themselves!
Yes, there are millions of users on our alternative platform, but getting in front of them will take work from all involved. Money will not land in people's pockets overnight, since while our platform offers amazing monitizing opportunities, it's still the big numbers that reap the results - but they're more than achievable if we all take actionable steps.
So we invite artists into our community on the grounds everyone is prepared to graft towards the common goal of a shared brighter future for our scene. In the best case scenario there is scope for our channel concept to snowball dramatically, producing significant wealth and exposure for us all. But worst case scenario in the absence of effort and everyone expecting everyone else to do what's needed, very little will come of the project - it's the individual success that will ascend the whole community to blazing heights! With that in mind, we may remove acts whose stats continue to portray lack of enthusiasm towards realising our collective goal, in addition to rewarding hard workers.

But our aim with this mission is to acheive 'celebrity traffic' for underground independent acts by pulling all our resources together and the snowball effect that could result from our collective focus and acheivements really is a phenomenal thought... In the name of transparency - you are joining us at an early stage of our journey and we will keep a log of our 'original collective' who will reap bonus rewards when the time is right (which will be an obvious turning point for all involved) since we appreciate the value of your faith in the movement.​ Our algorithm financially rewards virality too, meaning the better quality material we recieve, the greater our chances of collective success.
FREE PROMOTION
LIVE PROMO PACK upload 3 or more qualifying videos (3 min + each) and we may offer you a printed batch of flyers featuring your unique QR code linking to the artist playlist we create for you on our channel for the purpose of gathering followers live. In return for a later video snippet of your live Halo Eclipse shout out on stage (audience present), an additional free batch re-print may be awarded after 3 months - because we believe live performance is the strongest form of artist promotion so much, we’re willing to pay for it!
DIGITAL PROMO REWARDS Get 1000 views and 10 comments on one or more of your videos within your first month or send us a link to your channel make-over featuring our branding design (kept for one month minimum) and we may feature snippets of your material during digital promotions paid for by us.

RECOMMENDED PLAYLISTS in the pursuit of fair discovery potential across the board for our acts, we include up to 3 recommended playlists (of other artists with us) towards the end of every video description. While not necessarily genre specific, each recommended playlist is carefully chosen and open for discussion in the event the owner of the listed material requests removal or a swap of any playlist.

As part of our onboarding program we offer promotional assistance.
You will be invited to design your own social media make-over merged with our branding and while it isn't a compulsory measure, you'll be rewarded with priority paid promotion features for participating in this visual aspect of our outreach. In the same document, we've also crafted suggested post copy and created a sharable poster. Artists with us are rewarded for bringing in new qulaifying referals, therefore we encourage sharing our mission with creative peers in your circle. ​​
PAYMENTS & REWARDS

INITIAL PAYOUTS awarded when your video or combined videos reach $60 Rumble royalties - while you have opportunities to claim 100% of your takings, the community keeps 50% at first (split between profit & artists bonus payout kitty) until pay increase rewards have been claimed by your act via the following methods;
ARTIST REFERALS bring 10 new acts into our community for an additional 5%. In the event you are named as the referee by 50 or more qualifying artist newcomers you may receive 100% of your royalty earnings.

We've gamified engagement since it directly correlates to a royalty increase on the platform and our unique system encourages artist support and cross-discovery as follows;

PLEASE NOTE The algorithm on our platform offers flexible monitization based on varying factors making it tricky to offer black & white outcomes, but we offer members access upon request to an exclusive mailing list, showcasing our in-house dashboard results on a regular basis.

Typically payable after 10,000 views (all on one or shared between multiple videos of yours) #Sparkinthedark (within a month on any of your videos, pay increase as follows) 50 - 100 1% - 150 - 200 - 2% (capped) #Halohighlight or #Foundinthehalo (from your declared fan to another act) + 1% per 3 act discoveries #Halohighlight or #Foundinthehalo (from someone else’s fan) 1% after 10 (capped). NOTE pay increases may NOT fully apply in the event the same fan leaves all hashtags for the same artist.

PRACTICALITIES

UPDATE PREFERENCE when promoting please encourage your fans to engage using our hashtag reward system and to switch of direct platform notifications (which can get overwhelming) in favour of our mailing list offering occasional concise updates relevant to our community.

VACANCIES we are looking for people to help with; media submission quality control / video uploads & playlist creation / hashtag & engagement reward monitoring / act referral reward monitoring and site link monitoring - all roles listed are voluntary in anticipation of payment dependent on community status, work volume and role commitment.
